Former Kansas City Chiefs Linebacker to Manage Central U.S. Territory
Former Kansas City Chief and Texas Tech All- American linebacker, Brad Hastings, has joined LSC as Central U.S. Territory Manager. Brad brings a wealth of solid sales management experience with him. Formerly, Brad managed the ten state southern region for Interstate Battery Corp.
As an All-American at Texas Tech, Brad was named All Southwest Conference Team for three consecutive years and in 1986 he was named as the runner up for the Dick Butkus Award, a award annually given to College Football's best linebacker. From 1987-89 Brad played for the Kansas City Chiefs before knee surgery forced his retirement.
Brad lives and maintains his sales office in Arlington, Texas.

Jerry Gaube to Oversee Sales & Marketing
Jerry Gaube has joined LSC as Director of Sales and Marketing. Jerry brings over twenty-five years of executive experience developing the growth strategies of several, large international companies. Until recently he ran his own sales and marketing executive consulting firm.
Upon graduation from college, Jerry's career actually began as a player and scout in the NY Yankee organization and in 2007 he was named to the Athletic Hall of Fame of his Alma Mater, Binghamton University.
Jerry resides in Vestal, NY with his with Bette Anne. They have three boys.

SWANA Honors Landfill Chairman
Landfill Service Corp., Chairman Dave Hansen received a Distinguished Individual Achievement Award from the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) in June.
Lauding his service to the organization as a symposium presenter and leader, a spokesman from SWANA said, His contribution to SWANA's Landfill Management Division is really invaluable. We will continue to rely on his experience as we move forward."

Monsoon Concerns Lead Landfill to Product Invention
Setting up a new customer in Asia we put our Posi-Shell Applicator through it's paces and it performed well, proving again "if your dozer can go there so can our Applicator."
Our experience in Asia brought to light the need to create a version of Posi-Shell that would be resistant to the monsoon rains experienced in that region of the world.
With Dave Hansen heading the charge, and the team in Apalachin supporting and verifying his efforts, we are pleased to announce that the initial field trials of this product were successful. The site showed very little washing, even with a monsoon rain falling just two hours after application.
